Incident Management Platform
The Chandigarh Police Incident Management Platform is a purpose-built digital solution designed to modernize the way officers handle day-to-day operations. Traditionally, incidents were tracked manually, often leading to inefficiencies, delays in response, and lack of proper accountability. With this new platform, we introduced a structured, user-friendly system that digitizes the entire process—right from assignment to closure.
Through the platform, officers can instantly view new incidents assigned to them, update case progress in real time, and mark incidents as complete once resolved. They can also add remarks or notes to provide context, ensuring transparency across the chain of command. This allows higher authorities to have better visibility into ongoing activities while enabling officers to focus on faster resolution rather than paperwork.

One major challenge was creating a simple, intuitive interface that officers could use with minimal training. Another was ensuring that incident updates were tracked in real time to improve coordination across teams. Maintaining security and data integrity was critical, given the sensitive nature of police records.
We studied existing workflows within the Chandigarh Police and identified bottlenecks in incident handling. Officers often relied on manual reporting, which created delays and inconsistencies. Through this research, we designed a digital solution that mirrors their existing workflows while eliminating inefficiencies.
The design was centered on clarity and usability. Clean layouts, simple navigation, and bold typography ensured officers could access information quickly—even under pressure. Colors and icons were chosen for immediate recognition of incident statuses, ensuring no task went unnoticed.
Incorporating all visual elements like colors, fonts, icons, and imagery, along with realistic designs and functionalities of the platform.
The platform transformed how Chandigarh Police manages incidents, reducing delays and ensuring greater accountability. Officers can now focus more on resolution rather than paperwork, while administrators benefit from improved visibility into department performance.
