The first challenge was ensuring the AI-generated recipes were accurate, practical, and safe for people with dietary restrictions. Another challenge was crafting a user interface that felt approachable for both novice home cooks and experienced foodies. Additionally, balancing creativity (unique recipes) with reliability (realistic, cookable meals) required careful design and testing.
We studied how users currently search for recipes, often bouncing between multiple websites or apps, and found a major pain point: too much irrelevant content and difficulty finding recipes that match dietary needs. Insights revealed that trust, clarity, and personalization were crucial. The brand identity was designed to feel warm, modern, and approachable, combining playful visuals with a clean interface that encourages creativity without overwhelming the user.
The interface uses clean layouts, friendly typography, and intuitive iconography to make recipe browsing effortless. A soft, fresh color palette inspired by natural foods creates a calm yet inviting environment. Interactive cards display recipes with clear cooking steps, ingredient lists, and allergen indicators. Accessibility and responsiveness were prioritized to ensure a smooth experience across devices.
