Trendit is a dynamic event discovery platform built to transform how people explore and attend experiences around them. Unlike traditional event finders, Trendit goes beyond simply listing activities—it personalizes every recommendation based on user preferences, creating a curated feed of events that truly matter. From music festivals and sports matches to niche community gatherings, the app ensures users never miss what aligns with their passions.
What sets Trendit apart is its social-first approach. Users can invite and connect with friends directly within the platform, making it easier to coordinate outings, attend events together, and build shared memories. This adds a unique layer of social engagement, shifting the experience from just finding events to actually living them with the people who matter most.

Two complexities defined the early phase: translating messy event data (venues, genres, timings, ticket tiers) into clean, comparable cards, and balancing personalization with transparency. Users wanted “why this event?” clarity, not just a black-box feed. On the social side, we needed frictionless group workflows—friends have different platforms, schedules, and budgets—without turning the app into a cluttered messenger. Designing a lightweight, low-commitment way to invite, poll, and confirm was key.
We interviewed event-goers across music, fitness, and culture scenes, plus organizers from clubs and community groups. Pain points were consistent: too much noise, not enough curation, and group coordination chaos. Competitor audits showed strong discovery or strong ticketing—but rarely both with social context. Brand-wise, Trendit needed to feel energetic, trustworthy, and inclusive. We landed on a bold yet minimal visual language, expressive accent colors for genres, and a tone that’s equal parts insider and approachable—welcoming curious first-timers and seasoned scene-goers alike.
The UI combines card-based discovery with glanceable metadata—date, distance, price, vibe tags—so users can triage quickly. A genre-color system improves scannability without overwhelming. Motion is purposeful: micro-interactions for “save,” “invite,” and “going” reinforce progress. We optimized for one-handed use on mobile, dark-mode comfort for nightlife, and accessible contrast ratios. Information density adapts by context: rich detail on event pages; minimal, high-signal summaries in the feed and map.
Incorporating all visual elements like colors, fonts, icons, and imagery, along with realistic designs and functionalities of the platform.
Users discover nearby events via a personalized feed or map, filter by date/price/genre, and deep-dive into rich event pages. They can follow venues and organizers, save shortlists, invite friends, split tickets, and align schedules with integrated calendar and availability hints. The “Plan With Friends” flow bundles chat-lite coordination, polls, and confirmations—so the night is set long before the group chat derails.
Organizers publish events in minutes, add media, define tiers, and push to interest clusters most likely to convert. A live analytics dashboard shows impressions, saves, invites triggered, and “crew conversions” (how many groups decided together). Messaging tools enable updates to followers (e.g., set-time changes), while verification and review features build reputation over time. Targeted boosts unlock incremental reach without spamming disinterested users.
Trendit transforms passive browsing into active plans. Early cohorts reported faster decisions, bigger groups attending together, and fewer missed events. Organizers saw higher save-to-RSVP rates and clearer insights into what actually moves audiences. With transparent recommendations and friction-free planning, Trendit raises both user confidence and event turnout.
